We also understand that there may be sensitive timelines and budgets, so we have the option to use either on hand stock or fully bespoke products. No matter which option our client prefers, each product is designed and manufactured under the same strict quality processes as all Simba products.
In 1999, during the early hours of the morning, Simba Executive Chair Hiten Somaia shared a vivid dream with his brother Kamal. It was a vision that would transform traditional manufacturing into a model of mass customisation.
The concept was revolutionary at the time. Take any image, convert it into a digital file and weave it into a towel in photo-realistic detail, with a minimum order quantity of just one piece.
Hiten also imagined embedding a unique 2D barcode into the towel hem, allowing every individually customised towel to be sent directly to a unique address.
That vision became reality in 2003 with the launch of a state-of-the-art weaving facility in Kentucky, USA. More than two decades later, Simba continues to advance this technology through partnerships with major US retailers and professional sports organisations.
